All electronic music styles can be accommodated from ambient to hardcore.

For beginners there will be practice at setting up DJ equipment.


Pressures faced by women in electronic music industry

  • Facilitated by local female DJs/producers
  • Written input from major international female DJs

Strategies to bypass the barriers

  • How to build a following
  • How to create podcasts/internet radio shows of your mixes
  • How to organise and promote your own club night
  • How to promote your own music

Any of the DJ workshop participants who wish to try out their skills in public will have the opportunity to shine at this evening event.

Support will be provided by local DJs Lunik Audion (Cncpt:undrgrnd, We Love Space, Ketchup) and Thought Criminal (Binary School).
